What is the role of the Governing Body?
The head teacher is responsible for the day -to -day
management of the school. The Governing body are a
group of volunteers who give up large amounts of their own
time to act as a critical friend by providing strategic
management. They help to maintain high standards of
educational achievement, manage the school’s finances,
make sure that the curriculum is balanced and broadly
based and appoint staff.
