Madam Faber organised a French Day at school in June. All the children and staff dressed up in French themed costumes/colours.
The day started with a whole school assembly which was hosted by 'La Reine Charlotte' (Queen Charlotte - from the Holburne Museum of Art in Bath). She then ran two workshops with Class 1 and 2 painting French porcelain bowls.

Both Class 3 and 4 enjoyed making Chantilly Cream with Monsieur Fort whom also gave a short lesson on France and it's history.

The children then enjoyed the afternoon dancing to a traditional French band called 'La Vieille Rue', this included learning some traditional dances from central France. They listened to a Hurdy Gurdy and violin.
